the driver of the auto assumed to look for oncoming traffic and not use a signal to turn, but the bike is still legally liable to avoid an accident and obey the dub-yellow. also when vehicles genrally slow, following vehicles should be at a distance to react accordinly.

first off all the wrong goes to the stupid biker! yes there is double line so what!
if you noticed on the right side of the video there is a LEFT turn sign ahead! doesn't matter if the Lexus signaled or not the biker still tried to over take the other vehicle when it was still double yellow!

I didn't see any indicator, and if there was it was not turned on soon enough, the driver also obviously failed to check his/her mirrors when turning, but there was also a double line, gets tricky, when I was riding motor bikes I just assumed that car drivers where incompetent and blind and I was usually right and am still alive today, but I do see people on bikes take silly risks as well.

I think he did signal. Funny part is, even though it was a double line (no passing) The person making the left turn is at fault.
It happened to me once when I was illegally passing someone on a double yellow, they turned left into me, and had to pay for my car.
